no, I'd say the goverment is a victim of it's own policies .....
in thinking that money is the solution to everything, we have
become a selfish and mercernary society ....
who'd see serving the country as a duty or a higher calling ?
... you think if the SAF is not the most well paid branch of
goverment service, there'll be enough regulars to serve ? ....
I laughed out loud and long when I read that our US based
training detachments experiences baby booms, with the wives that
followed their hubsters there breeding like rabbits .... the
cynical mind can deduce their thinking pretty quickly .... it's
rather sad isn't it ? ...
its hard not to be selfish, mercenary, or cynical really. whats
the chinese saying, top is crooked bottom will be crooked? our
gahment sets a very bad example with their constant emphasis on the
bottom line.
I applaud those who choose to have babies in the US. Thats
forward thinking!
